I got rid of my CafePress shop this morning.

The entire account, in fact. I opened it in 2004 and never really had that many products sold. I figure I’ve spent around $792 on the shop, and maybe made $100. Definitely a loss, that I blame on a mix of my total lack of marketing skills and the crap that I tried to sell. If I ever come up with anything that’s worth selling, and find a decent place/way to sell it, I’ll be sure to let you know.
I also haven’t made any new designs for Split Reason in a very long time, and my current designs aren’t selling worth a damn. This month’s royalty check was the lowest I’ve gotten since starting. What’s more, I have a feeling that I’ve closed that door to me as well since Brian hasn’t responded to my emails. Drats.
I’d hoped that by doing a sketch a day for a year that I would break down my creative blocks that have been growing since I was laid off two years ago, and improve my drawing skills. I’m 126 drawings in to the year and so far I feel like neither have happened.
I’m stressed damned near all of the time with no good end in sight.
